A brother and sister from the city are introducing their new clothing brand to Lebanon County.
“The name Impera, which is the name of the clothing line, means ‘victory’ in Latin,” Amaury Abreu Jr., who co-created the brand with his sister Anaury, said. “We want to help people to understand that everyone can succeed in life and everyone can do good, so that’s why we created this clothing line.”
The Abreu siblings began selling their line of sportswear online at their website on Feb. 25. Their company name is Legatus Culture Co.
“The first collection, our winter collection, focuses on sports – we have hoodies, (jogging pants) and leggings – and we will have a pullover jacket with an embroidered logo on it (in our spring collection),” Amaury Abreu Jr. said.
Abreu was inspired to start his clothing line after a friend told him about his own clothing brand.
“When he told me (about his business) I thought it was interesting that it was something that could be done that easily – it wasn’t something that just Nike and big companies can do,” Abreu said.
